The best Zola alternatives in 2026
People look for a Zola alternative for three fairly consistent reasons: Zola does not offer digital invitations, its seating chart is only in the iPhone app, and it ships only within the United States. All three are confirmed by Zola's own help centre.
Below are five products that each fix at least one of those, with what they give up in exchange. Checked against each product's public pages on 3 September 2026.

What is the best alternative to Zola?
For couples in the United States, Joy is the closest alternative to Zola: it has a free wedding website with 600+ templates, a registry with zero-fee cash funds, unlimited guests and — unlike Zola — hundreds of digital invitations included free. The Knot is the alternative if the vendor marketplace matters more than the registry, and WeddingWire is the one to use if you want a free seating chart that works in a browser rather than only on an iPhone.
For couples outside the United States, none of those three solves the real problem, because Zola's American focus is shared by all of them. Stellanza — our own product — is built for that case: guest list, personalised digital invitations, online RSVPs, a drag-and-drop seating chart and a budget, in twelve languages and seven currencies, free for up to 50 guests. It has no gift registry and no vendor marketplace, so if you came to Zola for the registry, Joy is the better switch.

“Not documented” means the product does not say publicly whether it has this, so we do not claim either way.
The apps, one by one
Why people leave Zola
Zola is a good product, and the reasons to look elsewhere are specific rather than general. Its help centre confirms all three: "At this time we do not offer digital invitations"; "The Seating Chart is only available on the Zola iOS app at this time", free for up to 15 guests; and "At this time, Zola only ships within the United States".
There is a fourth, quieter one. Zola states that its wedding websites cannot support special characters, which means an accented or Cyrillic name cannot be spelled correctly anywhere on the site. For a wedding in Central or Eastern Europe that is disqualifying on its own.
What you give up by leaving
Zola's registry is the best in the category and none of these alternatives matches it fully. Joy comes closest with zero-fee cash funds. The Knot and WeddingWire both have registries. Stellanza has none — it can record what each guest gave so the total counts as income against the budget, and nothing more. If the registry is the reason you are on Zola, staying is a reasonable answer.
