HoneyBook alternatives for wedding planners
HoneyBook is a client-management tool: inquiries, proposals, contracts, invoices and payments. Its pricing page lists no guest list, RSVP page or seating plan, which is the part of a wedding planner's job that fills the last months before the day.
So the right alternative depends on which half you want to change. Below are four, with what each does and does not do. We make Stellanza, and it has no contracts or invoicing, so for some planners the answer is to keep HoneyBook and add a planning tool next to it. Checked on 2 November 2026.

What should a wedding planner use instead of HoneyBook?
If what you miss in HoneyBook is the wedding itself (guest lists, RSVPs and seating for each client), keep HoneyBook for contracts and invoices and add a planning tool. Stellanza for planners adds that side from $25 a month for 5 active weddings, with unlimited Staff and the couple invited onto their own wedding.
If you want one tool for both halves, Aisle Planner covers the business side and the guest side, from $69.99 a month for 15 projects. If you only want a cheaper client-management tool, Dubsado costs $335 a year on its Starter plan, but like HoneyBook it lists no guest tools.

Keep HoneyBook, add the wedding side
If what sends you looking is that each guest list still lives in a spreadsheet and each seating plan on paper, the problem is not HoneyBook's contracts or invoices, and replacing them does not fix it.
Running two tools is a fair answer: HoneyBook for the client from inquiry to final payment, and a planning tool for the wedding from guest list to seating chart. Stellanza does not connect to HoneyBook, so the two run side by side.
